This morning on Global Montreal, I told viewers where to propose to a vegan, to skip fussing over vegetarian and gluten free guests by going out to a restaurant instead, and to eat more oat squares. A fine morning, indeed.
Thanks to LOV and Kupfert & Kim for the food, thanks to OpenTable for making a list of their top vegetarian-friendly restaurants for me to use as a springboard for the segment, and thanks to all the restaurants I mentioned, for being awesome.
That includes:
Lola Rosa Parc
Atelier Joel Robuchon at the Montreal Casino
Damas
Ile Flottante
LOV (de la Montagne, McGill, Laval, Dix30)
and Kupfert & Kim
The food in the video:
Oaxaca rice bowl, chocolate chip oat square, pb&j energy ball, cauliflower tahini quinoa bowl with hummus and pomegranate seeds, wild blueberry-cashew-date smoothie, paleo bowl with sunflower-hemp balls and grilled yams from Kupfert & Kim in Montreal (thanks for sharing, Toronto!)
And a squash-a pple soup with pine infused fleur de sel and cinnamon-clove oil, jackfruit pot pie with white wine sauce and homemade ketchup and a gluten free vegan white chocolate, almond and cranberry Buche de Noël yule log from LOV.
